The Kamloops 3-D office is participating in the City’s “Adopt-A-Trail” program, and has completed their first trail hike & clean up!
Volunteers choose a trail they wish to adopt, and then hike it 3 times yearly, ensuring the trail is in good condition and cleaning up any litter.
The adopted trails, Deer Run and Lower Doug Daws, are in Kenna Cartwright Park and are extremely popular with both hikers and mountain bikers.
Starting on the East side of the mountain (the Home Depot parking lot) you hike up Reservoir trail first before you hit Deer Run Trail, which leads to Lower Doug Daws and back down the mountain.
